Job Description
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day technical administration of cybersecurity tools and devices, as well as first-level support for security service requests and incidents.
Requirements
- Perform user and access administration on designated systems and applications
- Perform system security administration on designated technology platforms
- Support initiatives for threat and vulnerability assessments
- Support application of patches where appropriate
- Support initiatives to remove and mitigate known control weaknesses
- Support security awareness programs with the organisation
- Researches, recommends, evaluates and implements cybersecurity solutions
- Participate in investigation, analysis and review following any security breach/incident
- Respond and remediate incidents and requests within statutory time periods
- Reports unresolved network security exposures, misuse of resources or noncompliance situations
