Intermountain Electronics is seeking a Press Brake Operator for their 2nd Shift at their South Point Ohio facility. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator and will be responsible for setting up and operating a hydraulic CNC controlled press brake.
Requirements
- High School/GED required plus one to one year Press Brake experience in shop/manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education related experience.
- Ability to read, interpret, understand mechanical drawings and specification charts and make direct application to project machine set up and final product.
- Must be able to read and know appropriate welding symbols and apply to fabrication process.
- Must be able to read, and understand production reports related to quality, and quantity.
- Must be able to write NCR’s and comply with safety rules.
- Must be able to establish productive and effective communication ties and relationships with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and staff.
- Ability to calculate and measure distances, heights, tolerances, & square.
- Must have a full understanding of print reading and geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part.
- Must be able to accurately follow plan specifications and fabricate product to match such.
- Ability to understand and know company operation costs and production costs and production overrun costs.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to analyze and understand project design, bending documents and specifications and successfully resolve practical problems and they may occur.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of job costing/tracking software.
- Must be able to program, set up CNC Press Brake controls and operational information.
- Must possess valid OSHA forklift – or ability to obtain within one month of employment
- Overhead Crane certification
- Must comply with and follow all IE safety programs, policies and procedures.
- Must operate and perform job duties in a safe manner.
