Job Description
Ocado Technology is seeking an Engineering Technician to ensure the smooth operation of their state-of-the-art, automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Andover. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving engineering issues, as well as carrying out planned maintenance and servicing to keep equipment in top condition. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, high-tech environment, working a shift pattern of 12-hour shifts, consisting of 12-hour shifts across days, nights and weekends.
Requirements
- Technical understanding of automation hardware/software and ideally control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working at height using access equipment (site safety standards).
