Job Description
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is seeking a Driver to facilitate movement of staff and visitors within the assigned regions, ensuring safety and security of passengers and vehicle.
Requirements
- Secondary School Certificate
- 4 years' work experience as a Driver in a volatile region
- Strict adherence to traffic rules and familiar with regulations stipulated in the Traffic Act
- Fluent in Somali and at least elementary level proficiency in English
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the assigned region
- Experience in driving 4/4, automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Automobile maintenance experience and basic knowledge of mechanics
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- First Aid certificate from a recognized institution
