The National Project Coordinator will be responsible for administering and managing implementation of all in-country activities of the RISSC Phase II project in Malaysia. This includes planning, supervising and monitoring activities required to achieve the project objectives and outputs, and ensuring alignment with ILO's wider programme of work in Malaysia.
Requirements
- University degree in economics, management, social science, labour studies, development studies, business, law or related fields with demonstrated expertise or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of relevant professional experience at the national level, preferably in project management and topics related to international labour standards, responsible business conduct, human rights due diligence, sustainable enterprises, global supply chains, social dialogue, labour administration or economic, social and environmental transitions.
- Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is required (reading, writing and listening). Knowledge of other languages used by workers or stakeholders in the Malaysian rubber sector would be an advantage.
