Economist (Local) - Resident Representative Office for Jordan - MCD

The IMF Resident Representative Office for Jordan is looking for a highly qualified Economist to join its team. The position is offered as a one-year local contractual appointment, with the possibility of renewal for successive terms of up to three years. Candidates must be nationals of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan or be able to independently obtain a valid work permit.

Requirements

• MA/Ph.D. in macroeconomics, financial economics, or relevant fields
• Five or more years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in software applications such as Excel and/or econometrics packages
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
