Job Description
The Head of Infectious Disease Unit will lead an experienced team, overseeing a comprehensive clinical infectious diseases program and chairing the Infection Control Committee.
Requirements
- A MB.Ch.B. or its equivalent from a recognized University
- A M.Med. in Infectious Disease (or Tropical Medicine)
- Registration with the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
- Minimum of six (6) years of work experience in Infectious Disease or Tropical Medicine
- Previous team leadership experience in health sectors
- Previous management experience in healthcare facilities
- Scientific research titles in Infectious Diseases or related sectors (asset)
