Job Description
The Head of Neurosurgery Unit will lead a team and oversee a comprehensive clinical neurosurgical program, promoting medical and surgical procedures, and rehabilitation after operations. The ideal candidate will have outstanding clinical and teaching skills, and a strategic vision for the role of the Neurosurgery Unit.
Requirements
- MB.Ch.B. or equivalent from a recognized University
- M.Med./Fellowship in Neurosurgery (or equivalent)
- Registration with the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience in Neurosurgery
- Previous experience as a team leader in the health sector
- Previous management experience in healthcare facilities
- Scientific research titles in Neurosurgery or related sectors
