Job Description
The Head of Ophthalmology Unit will lead a medical team, overseeing clinical ophthalmological programs and outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will have outstanding clinical and teaching skills, as well as a strategic vision for the Ophthalmology Unit's role in a rapidly changing medical landscape.
Requirements
- MB.Ch.B. or equivalent from a recognized University
- M.Med. in Ophthalmology (or equivalent)
- Registration with the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience in Ophthalmology
- Previous team leadership experience in health sectors
- Previous management experience in healthcare facilities
- Scientific research titles in Ophthalmology or related sectors
