Job Description
The Specialist Medical Officer in the Nephrology Unit will be involved in the care of patients and perform guard shifts, OPD Clinics, and coordinate patient care with other specialists. The desired Specialist Medical Officer of Nephrology shall be a blend of technical skills and positive personal attributes, such as compassion, respect, and integrity.
Requirements
- MB.Ch.B. or its equivalent from a recognized University
- M.Med. in Internal Medicine (or its equivalent) and a Fellowship or PhD in nephrology
- Registration to the Ugandan Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
- At least three (3) years of working experience in any area related to nephrology
