Sr Cloud Engineer

The Sr Cloud Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the organization's entire cloud ecosystem, working closely with development, security, and operations teams to automate security practices within CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure and applications with security, scalability, and resilience in mind.

Requirements

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure aligned with business and customer requirements.
• Implement and manage Identity and Access Management controls, including Role-Based Access Control and Single-Sign-On solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies to strengthen technical capabilities and maintain a competitive advantage.
• Ensure high availability of critical services by monitoring systems, resolving incidents quickly, and preventing outages.
• Implement and maintain strong cloud security controls, manage vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.
• Automate deployment, provisioning, and scaling processes to improve delivery speed and reduce manual effort.
• Continuously optimize cloud environments through architectural improvements and resource monitoring.
• Advise product, engineering, and leadership teams on infrastructure strategy, design decisions, and best practices.
• Deliver Azure-based solutions, including compute, identity, disaster recovery, device management, and virtual desktop services.
• Lead technical discussions, produce clear documentation, and support knowledge transfer to customers and peers.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and escalations effectively to stakeholders.
• Establish engineering standards, identify opportunities for enhancements or cost savings, and stay current with evolving cloud technologies.
• Manage Azure Key Vault, secrets, certificates, backups, and recovery operations.
• Configure and manage security monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., SIEM).
