Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SQL DBA to set up and maintain production database environments, provide expert advice to application DBA and development teams, and optimize current environments.
Requirements
- Good Knowledge on Windows NT servers, Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 servers
- Expertise in SQL Server 2000, 2005, and 2008
- SQL programming, Scripting and support
- Experience on database migrations, up gradation and patching
- Knowledge/experience on FOGLIGHT, LightSpeed and TSM
- Knowledge/experience with Disaster Recovery
- SOX audit & knowledge/experience
- Quality and Process Orientation
- Experience on cluster solutions (Microsoft and VERITAS)
- Database Bug-fixing, troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Good communication & customer handling capacity
