Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. SQL DBA with 5-7 years of experience in expertise SQL DBA to setup and maintain production database environments, provide expert advice to application DBA and development teams, and more.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience in expertise SQL DBA
- Good communications skills and ability to interact with various operating companies
- Experience on SQL Server 2000, 2005, and 2008
- Expertise in setting up SQL Server high availability features
- Database design and capacity planning experience
- Experience with database migrations, up gradation, and patching
- Knowledge/experience on FOGLIGHT, LightSpeed, and TSM
- Knowledge/experience with Disaster Recovery
- SOX audit knowledge/experience
- Quality and Process Orientation
- Good communication and customer handling capacity
- Cluster and High Availability experience
- Performance tuning of production database experience
- Handling team and understanding customer SLA and KPI
- Global experience preferable
