Job Description
Intersoft is a global business and technology consulting firm looking for a Sr. Network Specialist with experience in Cisco Nexus platform and Juniper devices.
Requirements
- Strong in networking troubleshooting and Network performance analysis
- Good understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite
- Strong understanding of Cisco WAN accelerators and Cisco Wireless networking
- Hands-on experience of various routing and switching protocols - EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and QOS, STP, HSRP, RPR, RPR+, SSO
- Vendor coordination and escalation
- incident and Problem management
- Experience in handling and troubleshooting Cisco router/switch series - 2800, 3800, 7200, 6500, 3750, 4500 etc
- Basic understanding of the various Network operating systems
- Understanding of TACACS and RADIUS authentication and working knowledge of Cisco ACS
- Basic to intermediate level of knowledge of Cisco Voice
- Exposure to Cisco Nexus platform would be an added advantage - N5K, N7K, N2K's
- Hands on experience on Junos Operating system and exposure to Juniper devices like EX-4200, MX -480's etc
- Familiarity with ITIL process
- Should be ready to work in shifts
