Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) team within the Platform Engineering organization. This team is responsible for providing Application Security (AppSec) scanning for our build pipelines, improving security for our build and deployment pipelines, ensuring safe Supply Chain deliveries, and sustaining and enhancing general DevOps workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Development, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Strong programming skills in at least one major language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/Node.js, ObjectScript, Go) with proficiency in both frontend and backend development.
- Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- DevSecOps & Tooling: Experience with secure CI/CD pipeline development, and familiarity with tools such as GitLab, Perforce, Black Duck, Checkmarx, Acunetix, and Entrust.
- Adaptability & Initiative: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies, take initiative, and contribute meaningfully in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience mentoring junior engineers and guiding interns or small project teams.
