Product Security Analyst

Product Security Analyst oversees incoming product security vulnerability reports, sharpens cybersecurity skills, and offers best possible service to companies and researchers. Focuses on customers with products as scope, including software libraries, native applications, firewalls, embedded systems, operating systems, and firmware. Supports researchers and security teams, assesses severity of reported issues, and motivates researchers to outperform themselves.

Requirements

• Challenge and support researchers and security teams
• Research, POC and evaluate reports
• Assess severity of reported issues
• Familiarity with and ability to calculate CVSS ratings
• Review and provide feedback on reports
• Motivate and engage security researchers
• Build a positive relationship with community and customers
• Provide remediation advice
• Proactively identify and solve issues
• Communicate, document, and share findings
• Stay updated on the latest malware and security threats
• Perform penetration tests and security validation
