Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support key Data platform initiatives and develop services for tax, personal finance and small business customers.
Requirements
- Support key Data platform initiatives
- Develop services for tax, personal finance and small business customers
- Successful delivery of high quality REST web services software
- Approximately 80-95% hands-on coding
- Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
- Experience with creating web services using REST, Apache
- Hands on experience in developing high scale application preferably with Oracle, Hadoop, Cassandra, Scala
- Strong experience with Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate
- Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile
- Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Strong understanding of the Software design patterns/architecture process
