Director of Engineering

Requirements

• Highly technical expertise in distributed systems, online security, and machine learning.
• Experience leading engineering teams of 20-60 people.
• Strong background in security products and machine learning.
• Familiarity with high availability and high security development processes, Python, NodeJS, and Go or Rust.
• Experience with DevOps/systems integration, lightweight development practices, test-driven design in large scale internet-facing systems.
• Familiarity with distributed systems design on orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, queue-first architectures, sharding, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated architecture and business/product need mapping expertise.
