Senior Software Engineer (Autonomous Systems)

This role is for an Autonomous Spacecraft Software Engineer to lead the development of software for a hypersonic reentry spacecraft called Arc. The engineer will contribute to all phases of flight, write flight software, design auto protection services, and collaborate with various teams. The position requires building a fully functional system capable of autonomous operation.

Requirements

• 5+ years building software for autonomous systems, robotics, or aerospace
• Strong programming skills in C++, Rust, and/or Python
• Experience developing telemetry monitoring and filtering algorithms
• Comfortable working independently on loosely-defined problems
• Enthusiasm for testing software on actual hardware
• Knowledge of control systems and state machines
• Spacecraft or autonomous aircraft experience (nice to have)
