Invesco is looking for an experienced Advanced Engineer to join their Investment Technology team. The candidate must have strong technical expertise and coding (Python / R) practices. The team is building a proprietary Interfaces, Data loads, Cloud native RStudio (running on AWS EKS) etc., for Fixed Income Quants and Research business users.

Requirements

• Acts in the capacity of owning end to end dev tasks
• Sets technical standards for the team and influences them to adhere and follow them
• Implements technical design and development
• Writes robust back-end code using Python/R libraries
• Develops rich, interactive data visualizations, and other dynamic features
• Automates test using tools like Selenium, Junit, Jasmine, Mocha, Chai using Test driven development framework
• Participates in code reviews
• Collaborates with product managers to translate business problems into technical requirements
• Communicates effectively across all team roles, users, and stakeholders
