Fire Protection Designer

Fire Protection Designer Full Time position at INVIRO, Canada’s leading Mechanical/Electrical engineering firm, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive work environment.

Requirements

• Post-secondary Diploma or Certificate in Fire Protection or a related field
• 3+ years of work experience in fire protection design
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and other software programs as required
• Experience with ESFR & High-piled Storage Application is an asset
• Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as the Ontario Building Code (OBC), NFPA standards, etc.
• Knowledge of HydraCALC
• Ability to meet deadlines/successful completion of deliverables
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure on various tasks
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Revit
