Job Description
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Associate to supervise Reintegration Assistants and coordinate reception and reintegration activities. The successful candidate will work in Douala, Cameroon, and be responsible for supervising pre-departure family tracing and assessment activities, ensuring adherence to procedures and quality standards, and overseeing administrative correspondence with government institutions.
Requirements
- Supervise and coordinate pre-departure family tracing and assessment activities carried out by Reintegration Assistants
- Supervise Reintegration Assistants in the implementation of reception and reintegration activities
- Ensure availability and compliance of Advance Booking Notifications (ABN)
- Organize and chair preparatory meetings ahead of migrant arrivals
- Supervise the organization of counselling sessions
- Oversee administrative formalities and logistical assistance
- Supervise and validate the case information and supporting documents entered into MiMOSA
- Lead and supervise Post Arrival Needs Assessments (PANA)
- Identify training needs of G4 staff and organize coaching sessions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ACOR procedures
