Job Description
IonQ is looking for a Senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance Engineer to join their Security team. The role involves leading IonQ's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) posture and developing a comprehensive gap assessment of the current CMMC posture, mapping CUI data flows across all environments, and developing a prioritized roadmap for building or maturing the SSP and associated artifacts.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity compliance, GRC, or security engineering
- Proven track record developing SSPs, POA&Ms, and C3PAO assessment artifacts
- Deep working knowledge of DFARS cybersecurity clauses (7012, 7019, 7020), CMMC 2.0 framework structure, and the difference in assessment methodology between self-assessment and C3PAO
- Technical background in systems administration, cloud security, or security engineering
- Experience leading cross-functional compliance initiatives and translating technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders
