Administrative Assistant II

The Department of Agronomy in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Department Chair and department personnel. This position plays a key role in coordinating meetings and events, supporting faculty processes, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations within a dynamic academic environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of related experience
• Associate's degree in a related field preferred
• 4+ years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in higher education or a similarly complex organization
• Experience supporting processes requiring a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience navigating enterprise systems
