Senior Data Platform and Governance Lead

We are looking for an experienced, innovative and highly motivated Senior Database Management Specialist to enhance the data governance capabilities of key IQVIA’s existing and next-generation data platforms designed to consolidate, unify, and govern data across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and expertise
• Experience with relational databases, including schema design and query optimization
• Strong proficiency in SQL and query optimization
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, APIs, and cloud-native architecture
• Hands-on experience with Spotfire, Qlik Sense and/or Power BI
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools (Copilot/Cursor) and their practical use in day-to-day software development workflows
• Project Management experience
• Fluent in English
