Senior Actuary, Asset Strategy

CL Re is seeking a Senior Actuary, Asset Strategy to support and shape the development of our asset strategies, including the initial development and on-going review to ensure we win new transactions and optimise existing transactions. The ideal candidate will have an actuarial or similarly relevant qualification, or equivalent depth of experience, with at least eight years' relevant technical experience.

Requirements

• Actuarial or similarly relevant qualification
• At least eight years' relevant technical experience
• Commercial mindset
• Demonstrated interest and depth of experience across investment and ALM risks
• Asset management, investment principles and processes, LDI investment and investment markets
• ALM techniques including asset and liability cash flow modelling, interest and inflation modelling, cash flow matching
• Financial reporting and capital reporting
• Experience working with investment data, modelling tools, data management tools, and data visualisation tools
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in partnership with colleagues
• Ability to plan work, manage time effectively, and work autonomously or as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of comfort operating in an environment with ambiguity, change and uncertain parameters
• Well-developed professional judgement and ease in balancing urgency and importance
