Job Description
IRIUM is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to design and implement end-to-end data architecture and data engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in end-to-end data architecture and design
- Proficiency in cloud-native engineering
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing and data lake solutions
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Spark
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS or NoSQL databases
- Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices
- Ability to implement data validation, lineage, documentation, and monitoring at scale
- Proven ability to optimize pipelines and storage solutions for performance, cost, and reliability
- Ability to evaluate trade-offs and make clear, defensible technical choices
- Ability to translate complex engineering decisions into clear explanations for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with breaking down ambiguous problems into clear, actionable steps and driving them to resolution
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering
