Job Description
IronMountain Solutions is seeking a highly qualified Configuration Manager to support an upcoming Long Range Standoff Weapon (LRSO) effort in Huntsville, AL. The role involves managing vendor drawings, reviewing Engineering Change Proposals, auditing CM CDRL data, planning and conducting Configuration Audits, working with subcontractors, and facilitating CM activities. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Art/Bachelor of Science degree with at least ten (10) years of experience in Configuration Management.
- Knowledge of current DoD drawing standards and Configuration Management Military and Commercial Standards is preferred.
- Work with the Engineers to create and review ECPs
- Establish/manage Configuration Change Board (CCB) process
- Perform Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA)
- Review Specifications, Parts Lists, Assembly, Application and Source Control, Vendor Item Drawings for correctness.
- Review CM related SOW and DID language prior to contract award
- Establish and document standard processes and procedures for CM related activities
- Ensure contractor/vendor compliance with contract requirements
- Partner with Data Management to route CM deliverables and draft contract approval/disapproval letters
