Applied ML Researcher

Ironsite is building the team to scale nationwide and is looking for an Applied ML Researcher to tackle high-risk, high-impact research and leverage proprietary dataset to train, benchmark, and deploy state-of-the-art VLMs. The role involves architecting & training novel VLMs, driving the research roadmap, building scalable pipelines, and optimizing for the edge.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Robotics, Data Science or a related field
• Prior experience in designing and training deep learning models, particularly transformer-based architectures
• Familiarity with one deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX)
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience working with and creating large-scale vision and/or language datasets
