The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for clerical functions in the Nursing Department, including scheduling patients, coordinating communication, and supporting nurses and physicians in providing quality patient care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CNA Certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize appropriately
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and be flexible when priorities change
- Ability to work in stressful high-volume and high-acuity situations
