Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified by the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Minimum six (6) months Phlebotomy Experience at Island Health or one (1) year documented experience as a Laboratory Assistant or equivalent as determined by Laboratory Director
- Qualify under Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)
