Requirements
- Answers signal lights and bells to determine patients’ needs.
- Assist patients to bathroom, bedside commode, or with use of bedpan for toileting
- Takes and records blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration rates, glucose levels, and food and liquid intake and output as directed.
- Reports to RN any abnormal vital signs, skin breakdown, decline in mentation or other observed changes,
