Job Description
ISMIRA Agency is actively recruiting for a Fitter position for TUI Cruises. The Fitter will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair work onboard the ship, under the supervision of the Staff Chief Engineer, Chief Electrical Engineer, and Accommodations Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years previously in similar position
- Ability to apply customer service skills, according to STAR program, when interacting with guests and coworkers
- Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred
- Maintain current STCW training
- Completed Fire-Fighting training
- Welding Certificate by one of the following LR, ABS, DNV, BV, GL
- Valid Motorman's or electrician license
- Knowledge of propulsion systems
- Knowledge of auxiliary systems such as, hydraulic, water and sewage
- 2 years prior specific craftsman experience
- Computer science degree with basic database knowledge
- Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests
- Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures
