Job Description
Asst. Chief Housekeeper - supports the Executive Housekeeper to oversee a variety of housekeeping functions to ensure the smooth running of the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Assistant Chief Housekeeper or similar position, within a 5 Star hospitality environment, and experience with ship operations of 500+ staterooms
- Experience in leading a multi-cultural team
- Business Administration or Hotel Management degree preferred
- Fluent in English with excellent oral English communication skills
- Guest-focused, service-oriented, positive personality, professional appearance and impeccable hygiene standards
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency with PC based databases, spreadsheets, and word processing systems
- Effective stress management skills
- Proven and comprehensive knowledge of all Public Health and Sanitary Policies compliance
- Minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old
- Physically fit and in good health
- Ability to carry heavy items and stand, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time
