ISN is seeking an Advanced SQL Database Administrator to maintain and manage SQL Server databases in all application environments. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience, as well as 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting SQL Server availability issues and managing SQL jobs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting SQL Server availability issues related to clustering, Always On, SQL replication
- 3+ years of experience managing SQL jobs, including database maintenance jobs (backups, index maintenance)
- 1+ years of experience in administering SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines
- 1+ years of experience in administering and supporting Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and ensuring reliability, performance, and security
- 1+ years managing SQL Servers using Powershell
- Strong knowledge of high availability and data movement technologies such as AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Change Data Capture, SQL Replication, SQL Clustering, along with disaster recovery concepts (RPO/RTO)
