ESG Research Analyst

ISS STOXX is seeking ESG Analysts to join their research team in Mumbai and support the collection and analysis of ESG data for their ESG Ratings team. The successful candidates will be part of ISS ESG’s global research team and will focus on the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative environmental and social data from corporate disclosures.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a field such as international relations, development studies, environmental science, or international human rights
• 0-2 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability-related field, financial services, ESG research/Sustainable finance/Credit Ratings, thinktanks focused on sustainability or academic research institutes
• Excellent English language skills, both written and oral
• Knowledge of, and proficiency with, Microsoft Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Integrity, organisational skills, attention to detail, a self-driven work ethic, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
• Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment and field
