Lecturer - Fashion Trend History (Temporary) / Dubai

We are looking for a Part-Time Lecturer in Fashion Trend History to teach within the Visual Design BA programme, exploring the evolution of fashion trends and aesthetic movements throughout the 20th century.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Fashion History, Fashion Studies, Art History, Visual Culture, or related discipline
• Strong expertise in 20th-century fashion decades and aesthetic movements
• 3+ years of academic or professional experience in fashion history, trend research, or visual culture
• Experience in theoretical teaching and academic research methodologies
• Ability to connect historical analysis to contemporary design and visual communication
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and academic documentation skills
• UAE Ministry of Education equivalency (or willingness to obtain)
• UAE residency preferred
