Job Description
This position supports tasking in PMA-265, NAVAIR Head Quarters in Patuxent River, MD, providing technical and analytical support services for integration and sustainment planning to the USN FMS IPT for the F/A-18 air vehicle, subsystems, armament, engine, spares, and support equipment efforts.
Requirements
- Provide support to Senior Logistics Manager and correspondingly to the Program Office APML/Deputies and Logistics Element Manager (LEMS)
- Analyze USN FMS IPT pre-case requirements for prospective programs
- Recommend life cycle planning alternatives and courses of action that satisfy defined program objectives
- Provide recommendations for the development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Management Plans
- Collaborate with USN PMs, contractors, and other activities to determine recommendations for FMS Customer to integrate new capabilities with the F/A 18
