Engineer

Iteris is looking for an Engineer to perform transportation or traffic engineering work primarily in traffic signal systems management, operations, signal coordination and timing studies under the supervision and guidance of senior engineering staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in any state
• Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) license (preferred)
• IMSA Traffic Signal Field Technician Level II (or willingness to obtain; we provide financial assistance)
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in transportation engineering principles including signal timing studies
• Demonstrated experience in transportation engineering applications/programs
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for data analysis, attention to detail, real-time traffic operations improvements to enhance the safety and traveling experience of the motoring public and pedestrians
