The Assistant Softball Coach is a member of the coaching staff, responsible for developing and coaching an NCAA Division III athletic team, teaching courses, and carrying out administrative responsibilities. They will ensure compliance with NCAA and Ithaca College rules and regulations, monitor academic progress, and participate in fundraising projects. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years' related experience, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of three years' related experience
- Demonstrated ability to plan and conduct pre-season, in-season, and post-season team/individual athlete practices and competitions
- Experience developing and implementing conditioning programs for teams and/or individuals
- Experience recruiting athletes, scheduling and coordinating special events or athletic contests
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively work and interact respectfully within a diverse and inclusive environment
- Masters degree or progress towards an advanced degree and previous experience working in a college or university athletics department is highly desired
- National certification in strength and conditioning preferred
