ASSOCIATE DEAN - SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS

Ithaca College's Roy H. Park School of Communications is seeking a highly-qualified candidate to serve as Associate Dean. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction in the administrative and academic affairs of the Roy H. Park School of Communications.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in communications, or related field with successful college teaching experience, demonstrating excellence in the classroom.
• A minimum of 5 years administrative experience in a college or university environment with supervisory responsibilities.
• Demonstrated collegial style of leadership, plus ability to assess critical situations and carry out appropriate actions on behalf of the college.
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to cultivate an inclusive, diverse and welcoming environment.
• Ability to work with individuals and groups across departments and schools and serve as an effective liaison and leader, and exercise discretion and judgment in sensitive and confidential matters.
