Job Description
As an Athletics Communication team member, participate in planning, developing, and implementing a comprehensive Athletics Communications program and services. Participate in developing the strategy for promoting the Ithaca College student-athlete experience to prospective students, alumni, and the Ithaca College community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in a collegiate athletics communications office, or an equivalent of education and work experience
- Working knowledge of in-game statistical software applications
- Professional writing and social media experience
- Experience in webcast production
- Knowledge of a broad range of sports
- Ability to effectively work and interact respectfully within a diverse and inclusive environment
- Ability to travel
- Possession of or ability to obtain a valid NYS driver’s license and proof of insurability
- Knowledge and experience with the technical use of professional grade digital cameras and video cameras and editing software
- College sports information office experience as an undergraduate or post-graduate will be considered
