New Student Programs Assistant (NSPA) – Summer 2026. Support first-year and transfer students and their families as they transition into the IC community. Gain transferable skills in planning, organization, marketing and promotions, customer service, and program development.
Requirements
- Serve as a reliable, professional, confident, and approachable resource for incoming students and their families
- Assist in the development and day-of logistics of Fall Orientation programs and projects
- Contribute to social media content, campaigns, and strategy
- Help develop marketing materials to promote NSTP services, resources, and objectives
- Develop and demonstrate multicultural awareness and contribute to cultivating an inclusive, diverse, and respectful college community
Benefits
- 30 hours per week from May 18 – August 7, 2026, and 40 hours per week August 10 – 23, 2026
- Paid at an hourly rate of $16.00
- Time off during May–July is available, but must be approved by your supervisor, ideally at least two weeks in advance
