Packaging Engineer Intern

This internship provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and real-world projects in the aerospace industry. Interns work closely with experienced professionals and industry experts, gaining valuable insights into engineering processes, product development, and problem-solving strategies.

Requirements

• Execute low to medium complexity package/process/product development activities
• Support the study of package process and equipment alternatives
• Follow established guidelines and protocol, scientific approach and statistical analysis
• Consult with broader team to provide technical support
• Support an environment that fosters innovation
• Build and leverage knowledge of packaging materials and processes
• Provide effective communication and documentation of work
• Review all packaging material used in the factory
• Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize packaging materials
• Identify opportunities to include automation to support packaging in high volume areas
• Work with purchasing team to seek further cost savings with packaging supplier
