Job Description
IVA’AL Solutions, LLC is seeking a Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) to support the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP). The FAIS will assess families, provide prevention services, offer counseling, and work in partnership with MTFs across the country. FAISs are part of a multidisciplinary team within a department of the Department of Defense that supports the prevention of intimate partner abuse and other family violence.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited school
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the independent level with current, unrestricted State license
- Two years’ full-time post-master’s degree experience
- Experience as a group therapy facilitator or co-leader
- Ability to obtain Military Treatment Facility (MTF) privileges
- Ability to obtain and maintain Basic Life Support Certification (Course C)
- Valid drivers’ license
- Computer skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office
