Job Description
IVA’AL Solutions, LLC provides support to the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP) and is responsible for staffing qualified Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Registered Nurses, and Program Assistants at U.S. AF Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). The company focuses on preventing and responding to intimate partner abuse, child abuse and problematic sexual behavior with children and youth, delivering comprehensive home-based prevention services to families. The FAN role involves home visits, education, support, and advocacy.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current unrestricted U.S. state nursing license
- BSN from an accredited institution required
- Minimum 2 years' experience post BSN as a maternal/child or community health nurse required
- Home Visiting experience preferred
- Basic Life Support Certification (Course C) required
- Must be current in maternal/child and family violence prevention nursing practice
- Must have a drivers' license and the ability to travel between office location to private homes and facilities
- Must be able to interact with all type of clients in person and by telephone
