Requirements

• Examines adult patients to ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
• Conducts and supervises direct patient care in the clinic setting, and plans and executes disease prevention and health promotion programs.
• Prescribes or administers medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
• Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits, and refers patients to specialists, as necessary.
• Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
