Adjunct - Culinary Arts & Baking/Pastry

Adjunct Faculty positions are available to teach Hospitality courses at the Ivy Tech Bloomington campus. The positions are part-time and require teaching 8-week courses, developing course materials, and interacting with students and colleagues in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Earned associate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution
• Professional certification in the field or Workplace Specialist License granted by the Indiana Department of Education
• Two or more years of directly related, industry relevant, work experience
• Servsafe certification or NRAEF certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Knowledge of and ability to implement emergency and safety procedures
• Ability to engage students in meaningful and productive ways and lead to a positive experience with Ivy Tech Community College
• Ability to interact with students and colleagues in a professional and cooperative manner
