Nursing, Adjunct Faculty

Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and providing effective instruction and assessment. They must hold a current, unencumbered RN license and have at least two years of direct patient care experience.

Requirements

• Create a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals
• Provide effective instruction and assessment
• Maintain student attendance and grading records
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time
• Deal with student concerns and consult with program coordinator if necessary
• Meet all scheduled classes of contracted course(s)
• Use technology such as Canvas and PowerPoint as appropriate
