Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary, part-time appointments hired on a semester-by-semester, as-needed basis. Adjunct faculty are responsible for creating a supportive learning environment that helps students achieve their educational goals and for delivering effective instruction and assessment using common syllabi provided by the school.
Requirements
- Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to the area of instruction and meet faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction.
- Must possess a current Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) certification to teach Welding for the Logansport Juvenile Training Program.
- Must have 5 years directly related work experience in the field that is specifically linked to the competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR).
- Must demonstrate ability to promote an environment that reflects the broad backgrounds represented by our students and employees and which every individual feels respected and valued.
